Brief Introduction to Changyi City

As one of the opening cities approved by the State Council, Changyi is located in the north west of Shandong Pennisula, south of Laizhou Bay. To the east is Yantai, Qingdao. To the west is Weifang City-the World Kite Capital. It belongs to the Bohai Economy Zone and covers an area of 1578.7 square kilometers with 680,000 populations. Changyi has a long history of more than 2200 years. The ancient names were Ziyi, Duchang, instead of Changyi. As early as the Qin dynasty, Changyi was established as a county and was given the name at the beginning of Song dynasty. In the Spring and Autumn Period, both Sunbin and YanZi were approved to live here by the emperor.
